The Dutton e-Education Institute is known for developing courses as Open Educational Resources, which requires that content be developed outside of Canvas. The result is that students must learn and use two systems in order to read course content, complete activities, turn in assignments, take assessments, and see grades. Learning Designers from the Dutton Institute will share their experiences using the Course Content Selector, an LTI developed by the Institute’s programmers that seamlessly integrates Drupal and Canvas so that students can complete all course activities inside Canvas.
*Please note: The Course Content Selector was developed for use with Drupal, but this type of solution would work with any system that can communicate via LTI.
